  REV SHNORR
Here Comes the Bride. Get married at the Tri County Comic Con by Rev Shnorr from the Jerry Springer show. Yes he is for real!!!! He charges $100 per wedding. No fooling. We are going to have weddings at this show!

"I have seen the acts of greedy men, and I have seen acts of generosity and found them both to be suspect - more or less"
-- Rev. Shnorr

Born in 1972 to religious parents, Rev. Shnorr spent the first seventeen years of his life studying the Gospel at The Lord Is Good Church in Chicago. But after graduation he strayed, and spent the next ten years of his life studying sinful behavior first hand. "Too much alcohol, too many women, and not enough of the Spiritual Life was my problem" he has said of those days. "But who better to guide the wayward through the darkness than one who has been Alone and Forsaken on The Lost Highway and now can say I Saw The Light, I Saw The Light, No More Darkness, No More Night, Now I'm So Happy, No Sorrow In Sight, Praise The Lord, I Saw The Light."

In 1991, the wayward young man had an epiphany after a night of sin.

In The Reverend's own words:
I awoke one morning in a parking lot using a curb for a pillow to The Voice. Though at first I thought it was a cop.

"Get up young man," The Voice said. "But don't wake Delores. She annoys me." "Yes Officer," I mumbled. "I'm not a cop you idiot. I'm The Almighty Oneness." "Isn't that the name of that wrestler?" I asked. "No!" The Voice thundered. "I am the Lord." "What do you want with me?" I asked. "I'm just a lowly bum. A drunkard. A loser. No better than a cockroach... ah, stop me whenever you want...just chime right in there Lord..." "Get Thee to a House of Worship!" The Voice rumbled. I was in shock, not only that the Lord Himself was speaking to me, but that the curb was actually more comfortable than the pillow I slept on the night before at The Camelot Motel. I raised myself up from the gravel, careful not to wake Delores - I didn't want to piss Him off as you can imagine, after all, this Guy can send a plague of locusts at you on a whim. I dusted myself off and began walking through the morning fog searching for a House of Worship. The Voice spoke again. "Can you speed it up a little. I've got a van full of missionaries in a boiling pot halfway across the planet. I may be omnipresent, but I'm not Superman."

   Glenda C. Finklestien

I'm a woman of imagination and creativity that never rests. My passion to convey my thoughts and ideas through words is at the very heart of my being. Although novel writing is my first love, I'm beginning to appreciate and embrace the art of screenwriting. It's a way of story telling unlike any other, and requires the dedication and common purpose of others to bring it to fruition. It is this sharing of talent funneled into a single story which makes the people at Final Destiny so incredible to be around. It's not just the writer's imagination, it's a team of creative individuals pooling their talents and resources to create something that no one person could have done on their own. To that I will be forever grateful to everyone that has shared this story with me.

In addition to this being my first screenplay, this is also my acting debut. My only previous exposure to acting was 9th grade drama class which is further back than I care to admit, but necessity birthed in me something I never believed I could do. I, in no way, believe I'm going to sweep the Oscars. It did, however, afford me an opportunity to express myself in a new way. In many ways I think the experience will improve my screenwriting for future endeavors.

Glenda C. Finkelstein has been writing since she was a small child using words like an artist uses paint. Although her passion has always been Science Fiction, she has written a great deal of poetry. In addition, she has been part of the writing staff of various school and work newspapers over the years. Her first book was first published in 2000, and currently has four novels out with a firth in the works. Of her works to date, she has received several awards.

After having translated two of her novels into audio formats, the most recent, “Nemesis Rising” which is formatted more like an audio drama rather than a dry read. Glenda contributed five major voices having to learn Chinese, French, Southern, and Swedish accents allowing her one voice as herself. It was this process that started to push her toward another way of story telling, the screenplay. With that in mind she endeavored to put her novel, “The Edge of The Universe,” into a screenplay format. That exercise groomed her for the screenplay that was finally taken to the screen this year called, “Perfect Copy,” a story of self discovery which challenges are very definition of life.

                                               ARTIST GARY FRIEDRICH
Gary Friedrich was born Aug. 21.1943 in Jackson, Missouri, the son of Jerry and Elsie Friedrich. He attended Jackson public schools and graduated from Jackson High School in 1961. He was editor of the high school newspaper and a member of the marching band.

He met future Marvel Comics Editor Roy Thomas while both worked at the Palace Theatre in Jackson while they attended high school. They shared interests in rock and roll music, movies, books and of course, comics. They began reading DC superhero comics during the revival of the late Fifties and discovered the new Marvel comics of Stan Lee in the early Sixties. Friedrich also helped Thomas with early issues his fanzine, Alter Ego.

Also while in high school, Friedrich and Thomas began performing in rock and roll bands, first as Evetz Pretzel and the Transjordainaires and later as members of the Galaxies. Friedrich played drums and Thomas was vocalist.

After working as manager/buyer for the record dept. in a Cape Girardeau, Mo. music store for a couple of years, Friedrich became first a reporter, then managing editor of The Jackson Pioneer, a twice-weekly newspaper in his hometown. In November 1965, he moved to New York City at the invitation of Thomas, who'd moved there in the summer of that year and become associate editor for Stan Lee at Marvel. They roomed together for a time in late 1965 and early 1966 on Bleecker St. in Greenwich Village and for several months shared the apartment with Sub-Mariner creator Bill Everett, with whom they became close friends.

Friedrich worked in a Queens record store for this first few weeks in New York, then began writing first romance scripts, then superhero stories for Dick Giordono at Charlton Comics. Among the superhero magazines he worked on there were Blue Beetle with artist Steve Ditko and The Sentinels, with fan artist Sam Grainger .

In the spring and summer of 1966, he worked as an assistant to Woody Gelman and Len Brown at Topps Chewing Gum where he also met teenaged writer/artist to be Art Spieglman. While at Topps, he authored a series of Superman in the jungle bubble gum cards.

A staff opening occurred at the company which was then publishing Marvel comics in the fall of 1966, and Friedrich was hired as assistant editor under Lee and Thomas. In addition to working the staff position, Friedrich also began contributing freelance scripts to Marvel, starting with Millie the Model and various western titles like Kid Colt and Rawhide Kid.

He also teamed with Ayers on numerous issues of Marvel's "war mag for people who hate war mags", Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos. In writing Fury, Friedrich included a series of stories whose titles began with "The" such as "The War Love" and "The Peacemonger" which carried strong antiwar messages.

Friedrich also scripted sueprhero titles like The Hulk, Daredevil, Captain America, The X-Men and a Marvel Team-Up issue featuring Spider-Man. He also wrote an adaptation of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein" and several issues of Marvel's "Monster of Frankenstein" title.

He left his staff position at Marvel in the summer of 1968 but continued to write for them on a freelance basis, returning for a brief time in 1971 to read and answer fan mail.

From 1970 to 1971, he worked as managing editor of FOR MEN ONLY magazine and wrote numerous freelance stores and articles for the magazine. FOR MEN ONLY was published byMarvel parent company Magazine Management.

During this period, he co-authored two popular music encyclopedias with Len Brown. He also wrote a novel which was published in paperback.

Between 1968 and 1972, while doing freelance scripting for existing Marvel characters, Friedrich also began working to finalize an original idea of his own which he'd first begun to formulate as a youngster on viewing the movie "The Wild One." His idea was for a motorcycle-riding superhero who would somehow be connected with Satan. He continued to work on this idea in his spare time over the next few years.

By 1971, he'd finally fleshed out the full look and origin of the character, and at that time he approached Roy Thomas and Stan Lee about publishing a comic featuring his new hero. In the summer of 1971, an agreement was reached to publish and introduce the character in Marvel Spotlight #5.

Friedrich's new creation, the Ghost Rider, first appeared in 1972, drawn by Mike Ploog who later would work with Friedrich on the Frankenstein adaptation as well.

The character has continued to be popular over the years, culminating in a hit movie version which was released in early 2007. This film was released on DVD earlier this month. That movie and related products, however, were made and sold without any authorization or participation by Friedrich, who has filed suit against Marvel Comics, Columbia Pictures and others. At this time, the suit is pending.

He left the comics field in 1978 and worked for many years as a pioneer in the movie rental business in St. Louis, Missouri. He has worked for the past 12 years as a driver/courier in the St. Louis area.

Friedrich recently started his own company, Gary Friedrich Enterprises LLC, to market himself, his Ghost Rider characters and copyrights as well as other characters and copyrights. Friedrich currently lives in Jefferson County, Missouri (near St. Louis) with his wife Jean and daughter Leslie.

TRI COUNTY COMIC CON
 IN
 ORLANDO FLORIDA,
NOVEMBER 21-23 2008,
A SHOW WILL BE PRESENTED
ON
SATURDAY NOVEMEBER 22
Suspira recently resigned as a featured bellydancer at the Walt Disney World Resort in Epcot's Moroccan Pavilion to devote herself entirely to her students and performance companies. She has performed for Saudi Arabian Royalty, the former President of Turkey, the Prince of Morocco and many celebrities including George Lucas, Kelly Ripa, John Stamos, Montell Williams, Cheb Khaled and Mayor Rudoph Guliani and has been featured in television and radio broadcasts across the United States and the Middle East.

After a good rum soakin' and a long nap, it became very clear that  Orlando is some what land locked and charting a course to it could be quite difficult, in that I mean...  the small lakes, ponds and narrow waterways in that vicinity can make navigation a pain in the arse. (Damn them  bridges!)
But  oddly enough it does lend a hauntingly familiar sense of home. Savvy?

Sounds like me krewe will be going ashore for this one.
Time to drop anchor and head inland to look rum in the land of that scurvy bilge rat Mickey, otherwise known as Orlando.

Say's " Don't miss Tricounty... Savvy!"
